Ingredients
  1. 200g minced pork
  2. Half cup shiitake mushrooms, chopped finely (about 20g)
  3. 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  4. 1 teaspoon finely chopped spring onion
  5. 300g cabbage leaves
  6. 1 cup water
Seasoning
  1. 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  2. 1 teaspoon sugar
  3. 1 teaspoon corn flour
  4. 1 teaspoon cooking wine
  5. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  6. pinch of white pepper
Instructions
  1. Put water and 2 teaspoons soy sauce in a saucepan, bring to the boil.
  2. Add cabbage and cook for 5 minutes, then take the cabbage leaves out to cool slightly.
  3. Meanwhile, mix well all other ingredients and seasoning together and make into 6 large balls, wrap each ball with layers of the soft cabbage leaves.
  4. Place the balls into the saucepan and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve with rice noodles or plain rice.
